BlogHer 2011: I want to go! Sponsor me?

I am reposting this at the top of me feed because I want to keep it fresh and available and also have an update:

I have entered into a Mom Grant on Facebook and I need votes and all of the help I can get.  Please go here and vote for me daily.  I would really really appreciate all of your help.  Thank you!

It is inevitable. I want to go to BlogHer really really bad. I thought I could push it off until next year, but it’s already so far away and I can’t stop thinking/tweeting/dreaming about it!

All of the “cool” people are going. Seriously. Everytime I turn around another one of my favorite bloggers will brag mention that they’ve bought their ticket.  It makes me want to go. even. more. I already wanted to go for all of the education and exposure benefits, but now I am literally drooling over the idea of community and social benefits.

The only thing holding me back is funds.  We just can’t afford to pay the full price out of pocket.  I am new at advertising and PR and monetizing my blog.  But, I have to put myself out there and have to give this a try.  What have I got to lose?

So, if you are interested in sponsoring me, here is what I’d like to offer.

My Needs

  • Conference Ticket $200 (before February 28th, or $300 after)
  • Hotel fees $600 (3 nights)
  • Airfare (from Northern California to San Diego)

Sponsors that would most likely appeal to me are

  • breastfeeding
  • cloth diapering
  • being frugal, green and organic

However I am willing and interested in hearing any pitch you have to offer!

Executive Sponsorship – $1200

If you become Marni’s Organized Mess full sponsor, you will be the only company I promote and work with for the BlogHer 2011 Event.  For this price, I would offer:

  • Sport your attire. I would wear your brand logo for the duration of the BlogHer event.
  • Featured post. I will write a post up that we agree on to share your product and company with my readers.
  • Full banner for one year. Your banner will go above my header for one full year.
  • Company logo on business cards.  I will add only your company logo to the back of my business cards.
  • Hand outs. Anyone who asks or mentions your logo or company, I will pass out your information.
  • BlogHer links. Any post I do mentioning BlogHer (pre and post BlogHer), I will add a link, button or mention to your page.
  • Tweets.  I will tweet about your company twice a day from now until BlogHer and THREE tweets during the event (August 4th, 5th, and 6th). I will also tweet with a “FollowFriday” once a week.
  • Facebook.  I will post your product or company on my Facebook Fan Page twice a day until the event and THREE times a day during the event (August 4th, 5th, and 6th).

Platinum Sponsorship – $600

  • Sport your attire. I will wear your brand logo for part of the BlogHer conference.
  • Full banner for six months. I will place your banner above my header for a full 6 months.
  • Tweets.  I will tweet about your company once a day from now until BlogHer and TWO tweets during the event.  (August 4th, 5th and 6th).  I will also tweet with a a “FollowFriday” once a week until BlogHer.
  • Facebook.  I will post your product or company on my Facebook Fan Page once a day until the event.

Deluxe Sponsorship – $300

  • Advertising. I will place your ad on my blog for a full three months.
  • Tweets.  I will tweet about your company twice a day during the BlogHer Conference (August 4th, 5th and 6th).  I will also tweet a “FollowFriday”.
  • Facebook.  I will share your product or company on my Facebook Fan Page twice a day during the BlogHer Event.  (August 4th, 5th, and 6th).
