Robert has a new favorite diaper in town! He’s a smart fella too. It’s a homemade diaper from Labor of Love Diapers, designed by a really sweet mama just like you and me!

Jessica contacted me to check out her shop and I was so excited when she did! Have you seen Labor of Love Diapers?

Her AI2 cloth diapers are totally cute and affordable. I couldn’t believe her prices! The diapers range from $11-$25, and did I mention you are supporting an awesome mommy?! They are made with fleece liners and cotton outers.

When the diaper first arrived to us, I showed Robert and he fell in love. Seriously! He’s had a thing for “feeeeeesh” lately, so the whole “water” and shark thing was totally “in” for him. Besides that, the lining is ORANGE! My favorite color! And the material is super soft. We are both more than pleased.

The tabs are aplix, which is not my preference, but I can. not. believe. that they do not seem to collect gunk! And, I can assure you that in my very long delay of this review that it doesn’t seem it will be an issue later. It’s been well over a month since I have “tested” this diaper and I have had nothing but success with it! I would say this diaper is extremely ‘breathable’. More importantly though, we’ve had no leaks!

Inside the Labor of Love Diapers shop, you will see a wonderful and easy to use size chart. I quickly pinned Robert as a size large. I can’t recall which fleece soaker I chose now, but it fits PERFECTLY within the diaper. Currently, there are sizes Extra Small, Small, Medium and Large. I hope that Jessica will soon a carry an Extra Large though (hint hint) so that my cutie can get a diaper or two in the next size if need be.

Currently, this diaper fits him perfectly. I would say he even has a bit of room to grow. Robert is ‘of average’ size at 22ish months, and I suspect will be in diapers for at least another 4-6 months, so we may need one more size towards the end.

I have not used this diaper at night, because I still don’t have an interest in dealing with Mr. Leaky Nights again, and the whole bed change in the morning/daily. Ahem. But during the day, I have had no issues with this diaper. It has collected endless urine and feces and never once leaked or caused me an issue during a change.

It’s easy to use and understand, completely adorable and totally affordable! What else is there?!

Jessica also carries a variety of other items including Cloth Wipes (which, too, are totally adorable!), Training Pants, Party Hats, Wet Bags and Banners.

Personally though, I think I may have to get myself the used corduroy diaper. Isn’t that so adorable?! But, I am a huge fan of giraffe’s, and really wish I would have nabbed that one before she sold it!
