SoftBums have two diaper systems. One is called the the “Omni System” and one is the “Echo System”. I had a hard time deciding which one I wanted to try out first. Surprise.

I opted for the Echo System in “Nuclear Pumpkin”. Isn’t that name just adorable? I sure think so! But, I am a huge fan of the color orange, especially neon. And, I feel like it’s hard to find diapers in the cute orange I love.

The SoftBums Echo diaper has a drawstring adjust system. That means that inside the diaper is a drawstring that you can loosen/tighten as needed for the legs. It’s super easy to adjust and can be adjusted to any size, literally!

These are a velcro diaper, which are not my preference, but knowing that in advance, I certainly won’t ‘knock’ them for it. (A big issue I have with velcro is that Robert can (and has) easily taken off his diapers when he is not wearing anything but. Obviously not a huge issue as I just set aside velcro diapers for when we are fully dressed.)

The velcro tabs tend to get a little bit of build up in the dryer if you forget to fold them over before washing (a bad habit of mine). But, I can honestly say that this diaper is a minimal culprit of it! *Blush*, I have been sitting on this review for nearly two months and I can assure you the build up has been minimal compared to some of my other diapers.

This diaper is extremely soft and easy to use. It is very sleek, and of good quality. I love that the inserts SNAPS in, as opposed to stuffing a pocket or laying an insert down to have it move about. (But if you like the pocket (and don’t get me wrong, I do, too!), consider the Omni System!)

For the diaper insert I received a Dry Touch Pod and a Mini Dry Touch Pod. These inserts are wonderful! They are soft, plush and have NOT had any issues with staining or fuzzies. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend this diaper to anyone considering a new brand or trying cloth diapers for the first time. I love that they come in a variety of colors (including orange).

We have had this diaper for a while now, and I am happy to admit that we have had NO issues with leaking.

And just by chance last night, my husband left it on (rather than the overnight posies we have been using) and again, NO LEAKING!! Yahoo!

I am seriously thrilled to share this “Mom and Pop” business with my readers. Considering I had not heard of this company, I wonder how many of my readers had/have not either, and I am all for spreading the love for them!
